These pictures were taken by Kenzo Baxter, his bike has a set of 900rr dual headlights. The pictures weren't retouched. He says that his camera tried to get too smart compensate for the extra light. The clues to the real difference are color temperature (yellow vs. white) and the relative brightness of the gauges.
In the right hand picture the camera closed the aperature enough to make the gauges appear to be almost off.
