Sylglide is a silicone grease that is specifically intended as a rubber lubricant for hoses, o-rings, etc. You've probably noticed that OEMs sometimes use a light grease that looks almost like Vaseline - that's the stuff, or very similar. Comes in a 8oz squeeze tube. *IF* you can find it. Not a real common item. Works great for hoses, spark plug boots, and those pesky carb and airbox rubbers.
