I bought these forks off eBay for $1.25 knowing they were trashed. I paid more than 10 times that for shipping. I got them because I wanted to see exactly what was inside them, and just how those sneeky cartridge forks really work.
I got my money's worth.
What I can't imagine is just how anyone could have done *that* much damage to some fork legs. Maybe the bike fell off a five story garage. Maybe the rider was going 120mph when he hit a cement truck. I don't know, but it can't have been good.
