All,

I was hit this morning eastbound on 580, just past the end of the bart
tracks. The women who hit me was intoxicated.

I was hit at over 100mph from the rear, while traveling about 75. All of
a sudden all I saw was the sky? What the #%# is happening???

When my head came down a few milliseconds later I saw a large headlamp 8
inches from my ass..but wait we are still moving down the highway...

A loud whirring noise is coming from below me. The bumper of this mini
pickup had a direct hit to the rear wheel..she hit me with so much force
that the rear subframe was shoved up into the running engine of the
truck....i felt pain..

but I am not on the pavement...What the (*#&(#(*? Why don't I hit the
ground?

  Everything stoped...as I turned around..thats when I realized what
happened...

This women was not even looking at me..a dazed look, confused and
disoriented. Sure enough I would see the cuffs go on this women after the
CHP arrived....

I climbed down off my bike..it was still standing. 2/3 of my XX was now
smashed inside the front of a 4x4 ranger pickup...the lights went out..

I came too about 20 seconds later when one of the witnesses arrived, CHP
was on the way. They witnessed the episode from behind. The driver had
been out of control for some time before she hit me and had been called in
to CHP as well.

All my attempts to communicate with her failed. She did not acknowledge
me knocking at her passenger door after I woke up. No eye contact just slow
uncontroled movement of her head and eyes very glossy.

I waited. CHP arrived and took info, measured and called the tow rigs.

She was arrested, I got injured and sent to the hospital.

I'm safely home now after a shitty birthday. Yes my buds and I were
headed out for a annual Western States tour..Utah, Nevada, Colorado, Idaho..
We'd been planning the trip for 7 months. Everyone coordinated time off, I
even had a new bike this year.

It was not a good day to die today!

  Anyone know a good lawyer?
